2. [ People like to worry very much ]

There are two ways of thinking when a person thinks about a problem (source of worry) which concerns him or her. One is positive thinking, which is interpreting the problem in the good direction like the Japanese proverb "Failure is the mother of success", or thinking of happy things only and not thinking about problems which can't be solved at all.
The other is negative thinking, which is interpreting the problem in the bad direction, or habitually worrying or regretting by thinking of things which can never be solved.
Many people select either type of thinking in a case by case way, but it seems to be a fact that many of them sometimes or often worry by thinking about things which don't benefit them at all. Why?

Because humans have this character by nature. They want to steep themselves in worry, anxiety, agony, sorrow, etc. I can understand that you want to argue back like this "You're kidding! Where on earth are people who want to seek agony?".
But, please just look around the world. Why are suspense dramas featuring murder, tragic love films, horror films etc. constantly popular?
Why do people want to go to see a horror movie, or want to go to a haunted house and undergo horrible experiences, even spending much money to do so.
Why do people watch a sad drama murmuring "His state is the same as mine indeed!" or "She's more miserable than I am!", and shed tears?
As a matter of fact, it has been understood from psychological studies, that one reason why people steep themselves in worry is related to the experience of being born.

All people suffer severe pain when they are born to this world as a baby. People are born enduring the state of possibly being killed by compression, being pushed out forcefully through a narrow delivery canal.
In short, in most cases, people get big trauma in the mind at the point of the beginning of life. As a result, trauma registered deep in the mind begins to spring out habitually as a matter of fact, though the person seems not to hope so.
Therefore, people wish for a certain strange satisfaction unconsciously by thinking negatively, that is thinking gloomily, like "How unhappy I am!" and abandoning themselves to the feelings of being "a heroine or a hero of a tragedy".

But, as a matter of fact, no one can get much benefit with respect to health, which I mentioned on the previous page, or with respect to any aspect of life, by negative thinking, that is interpreting a problem with anxiety or worry.
On the other hand, in the future of the positive thinking person, that is a person who take things in the good direction and lives cheerfully, a healthy and happy life is waiting.
But, for the person who thinks like this, "As I can't change this character of habitual worrying, I can't escape from days of the vicious cycle of disease and worry," I will start to tell you one by one the way to escape from the vicious cycle.
