6. [ Don't confuse the problem with your worrying ]
As I stated before, there@may be almost no person in the world who has no problems. But there are many people who live every day merrily even though they have a heap of problems. Because they don't think of the problems as worry or anxiety, and they manage the problems calmly and think happily.
On the other hand, it is also a fact that there are many people who think "a problem equals a worry" or "a problem is namely an anxiety".
I want such a negative thinking person to understand the following thing first. That is, except in the case of a disease which gives you pain (in which case, you should consult a doctor or be treated properly to reduce your pain.), other problems exist outside of you, and don't harm you in most cases.
Please think for a while. Do you think the monster named "the problem (source of worry)" which you are worried about most now, can rush toward you and kill you by running you over or stabbing you?
It is not true at all that the "problem" is waiting to harm you while you are reading this writing. Whatever you are doing, whenever you are, the "problem" can't touch you at all.
After all, although problems are strictly outside of our body and can't harm us directly, people create anxiety or worry using problems because of the reason I mentioned before, that is, people naturally have "a desire to steep themselves in worry" or "desire to suffer.
So, right here and now, I want you to change the wrong way of thinking you have had until now, and realize the following fact. That is, originally, problems and anxiety ,or problems and worrying are totally different matters. Problems are strictly mere problems and are outside of you. And anxiety or worrying are created emotions made by yourself inside you using problems outside for your own convenience.
It is absolutely not true that "a problem equals a worry" or "a problem is namely an anxiety".
On the contrary, there may be a person who wants to say "I can understand the theory. But I'm a worrier in fact, and I can't help worrying. Can you do teach me how to change myself?" or "It is impossible not to have negative emotions and to manage calmly when I'm facing a serious problem.".
For such a worrier or a negative thinking person, there are many methods to change one's character. Next, I will talk to you about the simplest method.
